Our inaugural festival was everything we hoped it would be and more. From inspiring panel discussions and enthusiastic readers to talented authors, passionate volunteers and wonderful community support, the response has been overwhelming. We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together.

But we’re not stopping there.

Books in Paradise is back — and next year will be bigger, bolder and even better.

We’re already planning new ideas, more authors, more opportunities for local writers, more activities for readers and plenty of surprises. Our goal is simple: to create an annual literary celebration that becomes a highlight of the Far North Queensland calendar.
